Independence Day, July 4.
Firemen's Pork Chops at Fire Station on Clay Street in the afternoon, and at the Middle School Athletic Field in the evening. Downtown parade. Band concert, refreshments, and fireworks at the Athletic Field at dusk.

 

August

Brick Street Saturday, August 29th.
Shop Sidewalk Specials All Day! MUSIC - Arts & Crafts - And more.. Enjoy a taste of Mt. Carroll at our local eating establishments and sample foods offered by our local community groups all day! Come for a fun-filled day! For more information, call 800-244-9594.

 

October

Pumpkin Fest & Ghoulish Gallup, Saturday October 24th.
The day will start off with a 2 and 5 mile run followed by the pumpkin street drags at 1 pm and finally a showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show will occur at 9 pm at Timber Lake Playhouse.

December

Christmas Walk & Tour of Homes, Saturday December 5th.
Mount Carroll merchants ring in the festive holiday season with refreshments and special Christmas sales. Photos with Santa, strolling Dickens Characters, Festival of trees, Tour of Homes and more.
